Do and don’ts for field day 2012

So I was reading some crazy good and bad articles, they where written fine but the topics were good and bad! So anyways here is a good do for field day. Go here for your next field day. Yah see they had a great time and probably had more metal in the air than there is space junk in space! Like he said it is a great place to set up and is a great conductor and everything. Wish we could do something like that though.

Alright here is a don’t do for field day.

Don’t get electrocuted while taking down an antenna. Read that here. Remember not to take things down when it is windy and you are near power lines. Learn from you experiences! So what could they have done different for field day take down? Have some body hold the coax so it didn’t blow straight into a power line!

Hear another don’t for field day.

Don’t talk to a new ham and totally be a snob. Like this guy. Especially to a new ham who just got licensed! That is like the most terrible thing you can do!
